Nesta postagem apresento o Artful Dodge, banda surgida em Fairfax, Virginia, em 1973. Assinaram com Columbia, lançando seu primeiro álbum em 1975 - este que apresento aqui.
Oficialmente lançaram mais três álbuns: 1976: Honor Among Thieves (Columbia Records),1977: Babes On Broadway (Columbia Records) e 1980: Rave On (Ariola America Records).
Os caras faziam um rock 'n' roll honesto, com aquelas levadas típicas dos 70". Além de bons arranjos vocais, eram competentes com os instrumentos.

SonyBMG renewed the rights of all four releases in 2005, so the copyright remains in effect through 2080 (if not renewed again). American Beat Records has reissued, and is reissuing our releases on compact disc. Posting these albums for free not only affects them directly, it also affects the fans that have worked very hard over the years to get a label to reissue these albums on compact disc. The interest in our music is greatly appreciated, and we hope you'll consider purchasing the reissues.

"Honor Among Thieves" became available January 2008, the debut, "Babes On Broadway", and "Rave On" will be out shortly. By posting the albums here, you directly affect ABR's sales and also affect all the fans that have worked hard to get the albums reissued proper.
