Johnny Jenkins era guitarrista negro (faleceu em 2006), canhoto, que influenciou Jimi Hendrix, além de ter em uma de suas bandas no início da década de 1960 um jovem vocalista chamado Ottis Reding. Em 1970 o cara gravou, com produção de Duanne Allman, Ton-Ton Macoute, álbum que apresento nesta postagem. O disco trás uma sequência de músicas caucadas no southern rock/country/blues/soul. O trabalho está recheado de participações especiais, principalmente do pessoal do Allman Brothers Band, confira o line up.
