Flower Travellin' Band foi fundada no final da década de 1960 em Tokyo, Japão. A música feita pelos caras trazia elementos esotéricos incorporados à psicodelia daqueles tempos, mas também com forte pegada que aproximava o progressivo do Heavy Metal.

Steve Miller Band

Esta banda surgiu na cena musical de São Francisco. No início chamavam-se Goldburg-Miller Blues Band, mas em 1967 ao assinarem com a Capitol Records adotam o nome Steve Miller Band. Em 1968 é lançado o álbum de estréia "Children of the Future". A banda se tornaria clássica, emplacando vários hits no decorrer da década de 1970.
